Flame detectors are rugged devices using combinations of ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) sensing to provide reliable detection of flame conditions in a variety of applications
All models provide a dry contact output for alarm condition and are housed in an explosion-proof enclosure
Built to military specifications MIL-STD-810C with 11 years mean time between failure
Models with built in self-test option also have a separate contact output for fail conditions
Accessories include swivel mount, air purge assemblies and fire simulators
UV Series is recommended for indoor storage applications only
UV/IR Series minimized false alarms by using a combination of two sensors
IR3 Series provides a unique method of sensing a flame condition by measuring three separate IR wavelengths making this unit virtually immune to false alarms
